Privacy

A plain-language draft. It lists what the site really collects.

What we collect and why

• Email address and a salted hash of your password, to run your account.
• The jobs you apply to through the site and the date, to show you your list and to count your daily free applies.
• A keyed hash of your IP address and a random device identifier, kept to spot abuse such as many accounts from one place. We do not store your raw IP address.
• Payment records (plan, amount, date and the provider reference). Card and wallet details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.
• For employers: the company details and verification documents you upload.

Cookies

We set a session cookie when you sign in and a security cookie to protect forms. We also set a random device cookie when you sign up. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Sessions expire after 14 days without use. Employer documents are kept until 30 days after we decide on the verification. Payment records are kept for our books after your account is deleted, without a link to you.

Your access, export and deletion

The account page lets you see your information, download it as a file and delete your account.
